Your family will be shown how to make the most of sandcastle molds and equipment to create your own masterpiece on the beach. This is an exciting activity that is also easy on the wallet! The free sandcastle building lessons will take place on Saturday September 3rd at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.
Interpretative Tours with Bucket Brigade
The beach of Galveston is home to some truly unique creatures, and you will be able to learn all about them with the interpretive tours put on by Bucket Brigade. This local organization will be exploring the Galveston beaches on Saturday and Sunday or Labor Day Weekend for some hands-on activities. Guests will want to make their way to East Beach where the organization will be discussing different topics that impact beaches including the turbid water, seaweed, and marine debris, among other topics.
